The Bachelor of Arts in Language and Culture Studies (LCS) is a degree that integrates three related areas of study: linguistics, language acquisition, and intercultural understanding. Students may elect to pursue one of three different concentrations: Cross-cultural Studies, for students interested in cross-cultural ministry; Applied Linguistics, for those interested in Bible or professional translation; and TESOL, for students who desire to teach English cross-culturally (EFL or ESL).

Each concentration strikes a balance between the study of language and its acquisition, cross-cultural communication and adaptation, and the professional skills necessary for effective cross-cultural service in any context.
