Career Placement Services

In addition to our Field Education program, students and alumni have opportunity and are encouraged to meet with our Career Placement Services Officer, Gordon Jacobsen.

Accommodations for Disabilities

Students seeking accommodations for disabilities, including facility access, are directed to our Dean of Educational Support Services, Dr. Kay Tronsen.

Student Activities

Students at Great Northern University have opportunities to collaborate with Student Life staff by suggesting, planning, and implementing events that are of interest to students. In the past few years, students have led and participated in the following GNU activities: a 30's-era dance, campfires, Smash Bros video game championship, prayer events, hikes, swimming/paddling days in local rivers and lakes, worship nights, talent shows, Old Time Bingo Night, Study & Snacks nights, clothing swaps, apple/pumpkin/strawberry picking at nearby Greenbluff Farms, Christmas tree cutting, disc golf, and more.

In addition, students lead in regularly scheduled events through service on the audio/visual/tech team, student worship team, “Pancake Wednesdays” (all-you-can-eat pancakes with fellow students), speaking at “Crock Pot Talk” nights, and participating in intramural sports through a third party that makes this available to our students.
