Biblical Curriculum

At Great Northern University, the Bible is at the core of all of our studies. Literally! In all of our bachelor's programs, Bible and theology classes account for nearly one-third of the general core curriculum. At 21 credits of Bible and theology, this means our students will earn a minor in Bible and Theology in addition to their chosen major.

The reasons for this are simple: we love God’s Word and are firmly convinced that Christian students of all professions and career aspirations should know how to study it. We agree whole-heartedly with D.L. Moody when he said,“I never saw a fruit-bearing Christian who was not a student of the Bible.”

Flexible Curriculum

Bachelor's degrees at Great Northern University have been thoughtfully designed with a flexible curriculum that encourages students to pursue their particular passion. With this kind of flexible curriculum, students can hone their program of study with special emphasis on the topics and issues that matter most to them.

Our flexible curriculum is also a great benefit to students seeking to transfer to Great Northern University, as it gives us room to accept a generous amount of your hard-earned credits from other institutions! If you are thinking of transferring, send us an unofficial copy of your transcripts and we can give you an idea about which of your credits can transfer in!

The following majors are currently being offered in our Bachelor's program, but don't get stuck on their names; with up to 24 electives per major, you'll get to customize your field of study, which means you decide where you go from here.
