Speaker Bio: Dr. A.W. Hull

Dr. Hull has served as a missionary with Pioneers for 37 years, first as a church planter among the unreached Aramba tribe of Papua New Guinea, and then among the nearly 3 million Muslim Soli people of Southeast Asia. He now serves in a leadership and training capacity, facilitating the equipping of new missionaries around the world by helping to start teams designated to receiving new workers. He also speaks at conferences, mentors missions leaders, and teaches as an Adjunct Professor at a well-known Christian Bible college. He recently completed his Ph.D. studies in Leadership, with a research project focused on the Retention of Overseas Workers in the face of today’s high attrition rates for missionaries. His research will soon be available through an article in EMQ, and a future book based on his research. He is married to Kristen, who loves to mentor other women and travel with A.W. when possible. They have 5 children and 4 grandkids, and enjoy hiking, running, and reading.
